Ron Elisha is a Melbourne-based playwright whose plays, over a career spanning 45 years, have been produced throughout the world and translated into several languages. He has won multiple awards, including four Australian Writers’ Guild Awards, and his most recent Melbourne production, ‘Everyman & His Dog’, was nominated for an Australian Writers’ Guild Award for Best Stage Play in this year’s AWGIES. Most recently, his one-woman show, ‘Anne Being Frank’, won Best Off-Broadway Solo performance, Best Off-Broadway Production and runner-up for Best Off-Broadway New Play in the 2024 Broadway World Awards. The show will be touring through the US and Australia in 2025. His new play, ‘Rootless Cosmopolitans’ has just completed its world premiere season in Melbourne, Australia, to rave reviews.
